Open Invitation – come and meet new friends!
Find the details on Facebook as our August MeetUp Event
Each month @SE16Hour runs a MeetUp for locals (and not so locals) to…well…meet up. It’s an informal social for anyone who wants to meet other people who live, work or play round here. Each month on the last Friday we head to a different pub and encourage anyone – old hand or new-comer, local resident or business-owner, regular visitor or one off passing through – to come and join our conversation.
This month we are enjoying the hospitality of the reopened The Gregorian on Jamaica Road. It’s recently become the 38th pub owned by Antic London a small chain of pubs across the capital. After a facelift, the pub has opened under Mark’s management who has a friendly team working with him behind the bar and in their newly opened kitchen. If you visit their website, you can see their menu and bar tariff, find their opening hours and sign up to receive their newsletter.
Make friends and network
We will only ask you to sign in so we know who was with us and can keep you up-to-date with all things SE16 by email. After that it’s just a matter of chatting to those who turn up. We encourage people to move around a bit so you get to meet several new friends during the evening but it’s not orchestrated at all. Turn up, chill out and enjoy a social evening with other locals.
The Gregorian is at 96 Jamaica Road SE16 4SQ on the corner of St James Road near St James Primary School. Find them on Twitter (@GregorianSE16) and their location on Facebook
