If you’ve never been to the Thames Tunnel Shaft, our local concert venue, then you’ve missed a treat. Forming part of the works for Brunel’s masterpiece, the Shaft is host to a wide range of regular performances.
The Brunel Museum Rotherhithe (http://www.brunel-museum.org.uk/events/music/) is running a World Music Summer Season there. With four Wednesday evenings filled with music from around the world, they are well worth an underground visit.
